KOKOMO, Ind. -- Howard County, and the state of Indiana, will lay Deputy Carl Koontz to rest Tuesday.
The services will begin at 11 a.m. at Northwestern High School in Kokomo, Indiana.

Here's a rundown of what to expect for the services.
- Pastor Steve Cole will give the acknowledgements.
- The invocation will be led by Howard County Chaplain John Murdoch.
- Memorial tributes will be given by Gov. Mike Pence, Jill Donnelly, the wife of Senator Joe Donnelly, and Howard County Sheriff Steven Rogers.
- Sgt. Bryan Wolfe from the Marion County Sheriff's Department will sing a musical tribute.
- Pastor Cole will give the message.
- Finally, singer Hunter Hayes will sing a musical tribute before Pastor Cole's benediction.

The eight pallbearers are from the Howard County Sheriff's Department and the Kokomo Police Department.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Deputy Carl Koontz Memorial Fund at any branch of a Community First Bank of Indiana.

The procession to Albright Cemetery in Kokomo is expected to start around 2:30 p.m.
