INDIANAPOLIS — Sports betting will officially be legal on Sunday, but not every casino across the state is ready yet.
Eleven of the 13 casinos in the state have licenses to begin sports betting. The Indiana Gaming Commission just approved the regulations for the casinos on Wednesday afternoon.
Here are the locations and days when you can place a bet on sports around Central Indiana:
- Indiana Grand Racing and Casino, in Shelbyville, will be ready to go on September 1.
- The Winner Circle in Downtown Indianapolis will be ready on September 3.
- Hoosier Park in Anderson will start taking bets at their new sports book on September 9.
Casinos are still working on when to start mobile sports betting.
