RANDOLPH COUNTY, Ind. -- A Randolph County woman has been charged with two counts of criminal mischief after she allegedly threw urine on her neighbor's house several times.

Jackie VanTyle was charged in Randolph County this week.

According to a police report, Joe Basler called the Lynn Police Department in October and told them he believed his neighbor was throwing urine on his house. He told the officer that he planned to install cameras.

On October 17 and 18, Basler showed police that he had video evidence of a woman throwing liquid on his home.

A deputy went to VanTyle's home and asked if she was throwing liquid on the neighbor's home. She denied it.

She was brought to the police station where she was asked if she had any problems with her neighbor. She told police she did not like him.

An officer asked her what her response would be if the lab told him the liquid was urine. She said, "It would be urine."

The officer asked her whose urine it would be and she said it would be hers, according to the police report.

The report goes on to say that she would urinate in a bucket, wait for her neighbor to leave and throw it on the house.

"I don't like him. He's a bad neighbor," she said in the report. She also said she had been doing it all summer.

According to Town Marshal Brad Fisher, the siding on Basler's home will need to be be replaced and could cost $300 to $3,000.
