INDIANAPOLIS -- Charges have been filed against one of the two suspects who tried to run from police after crashing a car, leaving an injured woman inside.
Christopher Glassel, 32, is charged with resisting law enforcement and driving with a suspended license with a prior conviction. Police say Glassel was the driver of the car who refused to pull over for an IMPD officer near Holt and Morris just before 4:00 p.m. Saturday. Police say he instead led them on a chase.
The car crashed on S. Sigsbee St. just north of the airport. Glassel and another man ran from the crash scene, leaving an injured woman behind. IMPD Sgt. Catherine Cummings says the woman was taken to Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition with an injury to her upper body.
The identity of the second suspect has not been released.
