Woman killed after pulling in front of two trucks on Indy's southeast side

INDIANAPOLIS — A woman died in a crash involving three vehicles on Indianapolis' southeast side Wednesday afternoon.

Indianapolis Police Department officers were called to the scene on Raymond Street and Southeastern around 1 p.m. for a report of a serious crash.

IMPD PIO Genae Cook says the woman was traveling west on Southeastern when she turned in front of oncoming traffic that was coming east and was struck by two trucks.

Police say one woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.

The accident remains under investigation by IMPD.
