Woman killed in Muncie crash after stopping vehicle in the middle of the road for argument

MUNCIE, Ind. --- A woman was killed after a vehicle struck her car while it was stopped in the middle of a Muncie Road early Friday morning. 

It happened just before 6 a.m. on State Road 332 near County Road 600 West. 

Detectives with the Delaware County Sheriff's Department believe Martha Cole, 46, had stopped her car in the left-hand lane of SR332 and was having an argument with her passenger, Jerrod Corn, 34, when a second vehicle hit them. 

Cole was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Corn and the driver of the second vehicle, Kandra Kramer, 33, were both taken to IU MBH Hospital in Muncie. Their conditions are not known at this time. 

The crash remains under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
