INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indianapolis woman missing since Thursday has been found safe, police said Tuesday afternoon.
Carina McDowell was last seen around noon on June 30 walking to an IndyGo bus stop in Riverside Park, according to a missing persons poster released by IMPD. The poster says McDowell typically uses bus routes 4, 6 and 30-Crosstown.
Fall Creek Gardens, the community garden located on Central Avenue, said McDowell is their executive director, and posted information about her disappearance on their Facebook page.
Around 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, Indianapolis police tweeted that McDowell had been found safe.
#IMPDNOW: We are happy to report our detectives have spoken to Carina McDowell and she is safe. Thank you to the community for their help.
