INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman was shot while standing out on her porch on the city's northeast side early Saturday morning.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police say the shooting happened just after 1 a.m. when a white vehicle drove by and those inside opened fire on an apartment complex on Kensington Drive.
The woman was struck and taken to Eskenazi Hospital, where she remains in serious, but stable condition.
Police are not sure if the woman was targeted, or if it was random. They also do not have any further information about suspects or the description of the vehicle.
