NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- A woman told police she was shot in the leg by someone who broke into her Noblesville home Sunday.
The shooting was first reported around 1:30 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 12200 block of Lindley Drive.
Noblesville police are investigating the incident as a home invasion, but have not yet searched the home. Officers are awaiting a search warrant to determine exactly what happened.
The woman was taken to Methodist Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No description of the suspect was available from police.
