INDIANAPOLIS -- A woman's car was stolen with her baby inside Monday evening while she went inside a gas station,

Police say the woman left her car running outside the Phillips 66 gas station at the intersection of Prospect and Orange streets. Her 11-month-old baby was in a car seat in the back seat.

While she was inside, the car was stolen, along with the child. The mother noticed the car gone and called the police.

About 45 minutes later, the car was found abandoned in an alley near the 1100 block of Villa Street, with the child still in the back seat, unharmed.

Police have not released any information about possible suspects.
