INDIANAPOLIS — If you're looking for something fun and free to do this weekend, how about a little fishing?
Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2 are the final Free Fishing Days for 2019.
During "Free Fishing Days" Indiana residents can fish public waters without a fishing license or a trout stamp. Children ages 17 and younger do not need a license on any day.
A number of Free Fishing Day events are also being held at state parks across the state including several Family Learn to Fish workshops. All events run from 9 a.m. to noon. Advance registration is required.
