INDIANAPOLIS — The weather is getting warmer, and it's time to start planning outdoor activities for the summer.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources announced its four Free Fishing Days for the year. On May 3, June 6, June 7 and Sept. 26, Indiana residents can fish public waters without a fishing license or a trout stamp.

Children ages 17 and younger do not need a license on any day.

DNR will also host multiple Learn to Fish workshops around the state.
