Vice President Pence to join Trump during Indianapolis visit

INDIANAPOLIS — Vice President Mike Pence will join President Donald Trump in addressing members of the National Rifle Association in Indianapolis next week.

According to an announcement from the NRA, both the president and vice president will be in town April 26 to address members of the NRA Institute for Legislative Action Leadership Forum. It is the second straight year both will speak to the forum.

"NRA members are excited that Vice President Mike Pence will speak about his longstanding support for our right to keep and bear arms and are happy to be in his home state of Indiana," Chris W. Cox, executive director of the NRA-ILA, said.

The leadership forum is taking place at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 S. Capitol Ave.
