According to a new study by the popular website The Knot, even though couples have cut down the guest list... they're spending a record amount on the wedding. Lindsey Granger has three apps to help cut costs on the big day.

1.  WeddingDJ

Having a DJ mixing on your big day can cost you anywhere from $400 to $2,500! Why not pay $7.99 for the WeddingDJ app? Just upload your favorite music and the app breaks down your wedding in sections like grooms procession, first dance and final song. Then, all you have to do is slide the arrow to move through each part of your wedding. You can even plug in a mic and be your own mc.

2.  The Bouqs Company

This on-demand floral service app slices the cost of wedding flowers by cutting out the middleman. The average wedding arrangement costs $2,000 and packages on this app start at $500. All that extra money will leave your wallet blossoming!

3.  Tradesy

The average wedding dress costs $1,100, but with this app you can get once worn designer gowns for up to 90 percent off the retail price. You can sell things you don't want for the discounted dress of your dreams.
