Amber Alert: West Virginia girl, 4, in 'extreme danger'

WEST VIRGINIA — Police in West Virginia have issued an Amber Alert for a 4-year-old girl who they say is in "extreme danger" after apparently being abducted by her biological father.

Authorities are looking for Gracelynn June Scritchfield. They said she last was seen in Fairmont, West Virginia.

Police said Arlie Edward Hetrick III, the girl's biological father, "likely abducted" Gracelynn. They said the girl "is believed to be in extreme danger."

Officials said they were looking for a 2001 gold Subaru Forester with the West Virginia license plate number: 1TH163.

Anyone with information about the case or the child's whereabouts is asked to call police immediately.
