LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KGTV) - The decomposed body of a University of Southern California graduate student was discovered Wednesday in a dorm room, multiple sources reported.
Jacob Kelley, 24, was in his first year of the Master of Science and Medical Physiology program, according to KABC.
A Los Angeles Police Department detective told the Daily Trojan that a cleaning crew noticed a foul scent and found Kelley dead in the apartment in the Seaver Residence Hall. Kelley died seven days before his remains were found, the detective said.
The Los Angeles County Coroner is investigating Kelley's cause of death.
