BROOKLYN, Conn. — Authorities say a man who had been kicked out of a McDonald’s for lacking a face mask threw a rock through one of its windows and then ran to a nearby Walmart and stole underwear.
The Hartford Courant reported Thursday that Jason Daddario, 37, surrendered when authorities threatened to set a police dog on him and was charged with criminal mischief and breach of peace.
Police say Daddario broke the window last week after not following a pandemic-related order on masks. They say he then went to the Walmart and stole several pairs of “ladies underwear."
An attorney to comment on his behalf couldn’t be found.
