KENTUCKY — Four children are dead and one is still missing after an Amish buggy was swept away by floodwaters in Bath County, Kentucky on Wednesday.
Officials say six people – including five children - were in the horse and buggy when it overturned around 4:30 p.m. after being swept away.
The family was attempting to cross a low water bridge in the area of Adams Road, according to officials. The adult is the only known survivor.
Multiple agencies spent the night searching for the fifth child, but so far they have not been able to find them.
