If you’re a huge Star Wars fan looking to make some quick cash, this may be the perfect gig.
CableTV.com is looking to pay one lucky person $1,000 to watch every Star Wars film back-to-back before the release of “The Rise of Skywalker” on Dec. 20.
The person who ends up being picked will have to watch about 22 hours and 25 minutes of “ancient, distant galactic glory.”
The films include:
· “The Phantom Menace”
· “A New Hope”
· “Attack of the Clones”
· “The Empire Strikes Back”
· “Revenge of the Sith”
· “Return of the Jedi”
· “Solo”
· “The Force Awakens”
· “Rogue One”
· “The Last Jedi”
The website isn’t looking for a run-of-the-mill fan.
“The chosen one must be an active Twitter user who is willing to share their Jedi wisdom and movie-watching experience while tagging the @CableTV team on Twitter,” write CableTV. “It helps if you’re also active on Twitch, Reddit, or other social media.”
Along with Blu-ray copy of every movie the chosen one will also receive a Nerf Han Solo Blaster, a Chewbacca onesie, and an R2-D2 Popcorn Popper.
You must be 18 years old to apply. To enter, contestants are asked to fill out a form on CableTV’s website with 200 words or less about why they’re the best choice to watch the space sage for nearly a day straight.
“Point out parts of your personality that make you stand out from the crowd. Can you telepathically lift an X-Wing from a swamp? Or do you have Palpatine’s persuasive powers? Let us know what makes you the chosen one.”
Applications must be submitted by Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. ET.
