The son of former Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky was sentenced to between three-and-a-half to six years in prison for sexting a teen girl in a Pennsylvania court Friday.

Jeffrey Sandusky, 42, had previously plead guilty in September to charges that included solicitation of statutory sexual assault and solicitation of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, according to the Associated Press.

Jeffrey Sandusky was an ardent supporter of his father, defending his father in the press and attending his father's court proceedings with his mother.

More on this as it develops.
