TULSA -- The man who was arrested in connection with a deadly shooting at a Walmart Neighborhood Market earlier this month has died after being found on the floor of his jail cell, according to officials.
Jail officials said Caleb Lee, 25, was found Sunday morning lying on the floor in his cell at the Tulsa County Jail.
As medical personnel worked to take Lee in for evaluation, he started to resist and refused to get on the nurse's cart. Officers came to assist, when they said Lee started to "slump to the floor."
Lee was taken in for treatment, and then transported to OSU Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Lee had been arrested after Dylan Parker, 27, was killed during an exchange of narcotics on Sept. 6 at a Walmart police said. Lee had been charged with first-degree murder.
