April the giraffe has had the nation gripped for nearly a week and now there's a way to track her pregnancy without being glued to a monitor.

The giraffe has been on the verge of giving birth for days and the live video stream inside her pen at New York's Animal Adventure Park has attracted millions of viewers.

But not everyone has time to watch April all day. Thankfully, Tom Horton created a way to monitor her pregnancy with minimal effort.

Horton, a Seattle man, set up an email notification system called Giraffe Watch after his fiancee made a joke, according to Houston's KHOU-TV. The station reported that Horton's fiancee said she'd pay someone $20 to text her when April goes into labor.

Giraffe Watch is free to sign up for but Horton is apparently trying to make a little cash by selling April t-shirts on its website as well. Click here to sign up.
