On the anniversary of his death, Merle Haggard's friends and fans came together for an all-star tribute concert in Nashville.
"Sing Me Back Home: The Music of Merle Haggard" packed Bridgestone Arena on Thursday night.
Music icons from country and rock showed up to pay respects to the Hag and to play some of his greatest hits. Performers included Keith Richards, Willie Nelson, Kenny Chesney, Miranda Lambert, John Mellencamp, Dierks Bentley and Hank Williams Jr.
At least 24 performers were scheduled on the bill.
Haggard died on April 6, 2016 at the age of 79.
