More than 6.5 million pounds of raw beef products have been recalled over salmonella concerns, the USDA announced on Thursday morning.

The JBS Tolleson Inc. raw beef products bear the establishment number "EST. 267" inside the USDA mark of inspection and were shipped to retail locations across the country.

The raw, non-intact beef items, including ground beef, were packaged on various dates from July 26, 2018 through Sept. 7, 2018.

So far, there have been 57 case-patients identified in 16 states. They had illness onset dates from Aug. 5, 2018 through Sept. 6, 2018.
