A traditional Thanksgiving football game played by kids in Louisville, Kentucky was ruined Thursday when a shooting killed two men and hurt four others.

According to Louisville's WAVE-TV, the shooting happened at about 1:30 p.m. local time, at Shawnee Park, which was packed for the annual Juice Bowl. Among those attending the game was Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer, who told WAVE that the shooting happened about 150 yards from him.

Two men were killed in the shooting and four others were taken to area hospitals with injuries that were not believed to be life threatening, reports indicate.

The game is apparently attended by hundreds of people every year. Charlotte Waddell, a cousin of Louisville native Muhammad Ali who was also at the game on Thursday, told the Louisville Courier-Journal that "This is the worst Thanksgiving ever. I'll never be back."

No suspects had been arrested in connection with the shooting as of 4:30 p.m.
