PHOTOS: Boy gets IMPD escort as he leaves Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health
11-year-old Drake from Warsaw, Ind. got a police escort from Riley Hospital Thursday morning after undergoing surgery in February for a brain tumor.
Drake Price,11, recently underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health.
He prepared to leave the hospital Thursday morning with his parents.
Photo by: Dave Marren In February 2017, Drake began to have headaches accompanied by unbearable pain. Then came the strokes. One day, the right side of his face began drooping, he experienced slurred speech and loss of feeling in his right arm. It happened two more times and then Drake was rushed to the emergency room in his hometown of Warsaw, Ind. A CT scan revealed a baseball-sized tumor in his brain.
