PHOTOS: Garth Brooks surprises children at Riley Hospital with new play space
It was a typical Friday for patients and their families at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Healthin Indianapolis – until country music superstar Garth Brooks and his band showed up to surprise them. Brooks was in Indianapolis for a concert series and stopped by the children’s hospital to enjoy some downtime with patients and also cut the ribbon on the Backyard – the hospital’s new outdoor play space.
