INDIANAPOLIS -- Hundreds of people gathered outside the Statehouse downtown on Saturday evening to protest the results of the presidential election.
People began gathering outside the Statehouse around 4:30 p.m and the crowd was nearing 400 people as the night drew on.
After the rally at the Statehouse, protesters took to the streets of Indianapolis to march and chant.
Police had to close off several roads because of large groups of protesters.

Police made seven arrests after some of the protesters got rowdy - rocks at some of the officers on scene.

Police said two officers were injured during the event.
