CARMEL — One person is dead after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Carmel, police said.

Lt. Ryan McClain, a public information officer with the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, said the crash occurred around 8 a.m. on East 146th Street between Carey Road and Alderbrook Trail.

Deputies said a Ford Mustang left the roadway and collided with a tree in the center of the median. The driver of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Deputies identified the victim as Isaiah Harris, of Noblesville.

Harris was the only person in the vehicle.
