INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating after one person died after being shot Friday night.
Officers responded to the 2100 block of Autumn Creek Drive around 5 p.m. That's near E. 21st Street and N. German Church Road.
Kayvon Richardson, 34, was taken to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
IMPD says at this time, the case is a death investigation. The Marion County Coroner said Monday that Richardson's cause and manner of death are pending.
