LAWRENCE — Lawrence Police Department detectives are investigating after someone shot a gas station clerk early Sunday morning.
Police say the shooting happened around 5:30 a.m. at Thornton's, located in the 7000 block of Pendleton Pike.
The victim is currently at a hospital in critical condition and has had one surgery.
Detectives are looking for a person of interest in the investigation.
