CLAY COUNTY, Ind. -- One man was cited by police after a crash involving a Clay County sheriff's deputy.
The crash happened Tuesday afternoon at the intersection of country roads 1100 South and 225 East.
According to the preliminary investigation by Indiana State Police, Clay County Deputy Sheriff David Gates was on his way to a car crash scene when 64-year-old Roger Curl ran a stop sign, crashing into Gates' marked Dodge Charger.
Both men were treated for minor injuries.
Curl was cited for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
