Silver Alert canceled for missing Auburn, Indiana teen

UPDATE:
AUBURN, IN — The Silver Alert was canceled Thursday evening after Aaron David Smith was safely located, according to police dispatchers.

PREVIOUS:
AUBURN, IN — A Silver Alert was declared for a missing 16-year-old boy from northeast Indiana on Thursday morning.

Smith was last seen Wednesday night at 10:10 p.m. wearing blue-rimmed glasses, a dark-colored t-shirt, and jeans. The teen has brown eyes, brown hair, and stands at 5 feet 8 inches tall.

Aaron David Smith is missing from Auburn, a town 145 miles from Indianapolis.

According to Auburn Police, Smith is believed to be in extreme danger.
