UPDATE: The statewide Silver Alert for a missing Elkhart teenager has been canceled, according to the Indiana State Police.

ELKHART — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Elkhart teen who may be in extreme danger.

According to the Silver Alert, the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office is investigating the disappearance of Yvens Reisacher, 18, of Elkhart. Reisacher is described as a black male, 6-feet tall, weighing 230 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt with maroon shorts and was last seen driving a maroon 2002 Buick LeSabre with Indiana license plate BVX199.

Reisacher was last seen at 1:30 p.m. Friday. He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Anyone with information on Reisacher's whereabouts is asked to call the Elkhart County Sheriff's Office at 574-533-4151 or 911.
