Silver Alert canceled for missing Warsaw woman

WARSAW — A statewide Silver Alert was canceled on July 20, 2020 for a missing 84-year-old Warsaw woman who is believed to be in danger.

According to the Silver Alert, the Kosciusko County Sheriff's Department is searching for Alberta Sue Wamsley, 84. She was last seen wearing yellow and white loose-fitting pajamas and is possibly driving a silver 2008 Chevrolet Impala with Indiana license plate VCS138.

Wamsley is described as a white female, 5-feet 1-inch tall, weighing 132 pounds with white hair and blue eyes.

According to the alert, she is missing from Warsaw, which is 126 miles north of Indianapolis. Wamsley was last seen Sunday at 4:30 p.m. Wamsley is believed to be in danger and may require medical assistance.
