LAKEVILLE (AP) — Four students have been injured after their school bus was rear-ended by an SUV in northwestern Indiana.

State police say the bus was carrying 20 Union-North United School Corp. students when it was struck just before 8 a.m. Monday as it was pulling away from a bus stop in St. Joseph County's Lakeville.

Two nine-year-old boys, a five-year-old girl and a 15-year-old girl suffered minor injuries. They were treated at a hospital and released. The 28-year-old driver of the SUV also was hospitalized.

The crash was under investigation Monday.
