LAWRENCE -- Police are investigating a serious crash that sent a man and two juveniles to the hospital. It happened around 1:30 Saturday morning near Pendleton Pike and 52nd St.

Police say a 21-year-old man was driving and two juvenile passengers were in the truck when it crashed into two mobile homes. All three were taken to local hospitals but are expected to survive their injuries.

One person was inside one of the mobile homes at the time. That person was not seriously hurt.

The investigation is ongoing, but authorities do believe alcohol played a factor in the crash.
