WEST LAFAYETTE — Purdue University has announced a public candlelight memorial for Tyler Trent on Wednesday, Jan. 9.

The memorial will start at 6 p.m. in front of Hovde Hall on Purdue's campus, and is open to the public. Purdue will be providing parking at the Northwestern parking garage. The memorial will also be live streamed for those who can not be in attendance.

Trent's funeral is the night before, Tuesday Jan. 8, at College Park Church, in Indianapolis.

Tyler Trent is a former Purdue student, and Purdue super fan, who passed away on Jan. 1, 2019, after his notable fight with terminal bone cancer.
