''American Idol'' auditions coming to Louisville next week

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Think you have what it takes to be the next American Idol? Well, start practicing because auditions are coming to Louisville, Kentucky next week!

The auditions are being held Wednesday, August 30 at Water Front Park. 

If you can't make it in person, don't worry. There are two ways to audition. You can submit a video on the show's site, or you can audition in person at dozens of different locations across the U.S. 

If you can't make Louisville but want to audition in person, here's a full list of all “American Idol” audition locations:

Season 16 of "American Idol" will air next year. Pop star Katy Perry has been announced as the first judge for ABC's revival of the hit show.
