The White House recently had a special visitor to celebrate Black History Month.

Virginia McLaurin, who is 106 years old, met President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama in the White House.

In a video posted by the White House on Facebook, McLaurin screams "Hi!" at the president when introduced. She can barely contain her excitement when walking over to meet the First Couple.

"I thought I would never live to get in the White House," she said. "A black president. A black wife."

McLaurin, who was born in the early 1900s, has lived through two world wars, the invention of television and other modern luxuries, as well as a person walking on the moon.
