INDIANAPOLIS — Avery Bush Sr. is the Pastor of Christian Faith Baptist Church in Indianapolis, and he is battling leukemia and looking for a bone marrow match.

Since being diagnosed in July, Bush has gone through several rounds of chemotherapy, but doctors say cancer will likely keep coming back without a bone marrow transplant.

Right now, there is no match on the National Stem Cell Donor Registry for Pastor Bush.

However, since RTV6 first shared Pastor Bush's story, 214 people have answered the call — registering to become donors.

If you want to sign up to help, go to Be The Match's website or by texting PastorBush to 61474.
