City's 1st big convention since pandemic began brings people back downtown

INDIANAPOLIS — Thousands of people and hundreds of companies are in Indianapolis for the city's first big convention since the pandemic canceled countless events.

The city has hosted tournaments and the Indy 500, but now a steady stream of conventions will bring visitors and customers back to local businesses.
