INDIANAPOLIS — IMPD is investigating an overnight homicide on the west side of Indianapolis.
Officers arrived to an apartment complex near the intersection of W. Michigan and Holt Rd.
Officers located a male victim that was shot. On Monday, the victim was identified as 18-year-old Kenzel Bones.
Medics arrived and the victim unfortunately died at the scene.
On Feb. 17, IMPD announced an arrest had been made in connection with Bones' death. They say a 19-year-old Curtis Williams faces a charge of murder.
Due to findings during the search warrant, the 19-year-old also faces multiple drug possession and firearm related charges.
