INDIANAPOLIS — One person is dead after a shooting on Indianapolis' west side late Friday afternoon.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers were called to the scene on George Court just before 5 p.m.
When officers arrived they found one person suffering from gunshot wounds. That person was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The details surrounding the shooting have not been released at this time.
