ASHVILLE, NC — Indiana suffered its first loss of the season Tuesday and may have lost one of its most important players.
The Hoosiers, playing in the Maui Classic in Ashville, North Carolina, lost to 17th. ranked Texas 66-44.
Indiana was never in the game. The Hoosiers shot just 23% and were out-rebounded by the 3-0 Longhorns 48-29.
Senior Guard Al Durham left the game in the second quarter with what appeared to be an ankle injury.
Trayce Jackson-Davis led the 2-1 Hoosiers with 17 points.
