BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Kevin "Yogi" Ferrell broke Indiana University's all-time assist record Tuesday night in the Hoosiers' match-up against Illinois.
The point guard and former Park Tudor standout broke the former record of 545 assists, set by Michael Lewis -- now an assistant coach for the Butler University Bulldogs.
"I've got some great guys," Ferrell told RTV6 Sports Director Dave Furst. "I definitely love playing with my team. I just get them the ball and they finish."
