INDIANAPOLIS—Fans attending the Colts home opener this Sunday against Atlanta at Lucas Oil Stadium will not get to see the team's standout second-year linebacker in action.
Darius Leonard has been ruled out for Sunday after emerging from last week's game at Tennessee with concussion-like symptoms. He's been placed in the NFL concussion protocol.
Also out for Sunday, but not unexpected, is defensive end Jabaal Sheard. He has practiced with the team this week, but is still working his way back from a knee injury that has kept him off the field during the pre-season and the first two games of the regular season.
