LOS ANGELES—The Colts fought back, but lost their season opening game to the Chargers in overtime, 30-24.

With 38-seconds left in the fourth quarter, receiver T.Y. Hilton caught his second touchdown pass of the game. The Colts then made good on a two-point conversion attempt to tie the game at 24. They had trailed by 15 in the third quarter.

But the Chargers got the ball first in overtime, and quickly marched downfield to a winning touchdown.

Quarterback Jacoby Brissett completed 21 of 27 passes for 190-yards, including two touchdown passes to T.Y. Hilton.

Marlon Mack rushed for 174-yards and a touchdown.

But veteran kicker Adam Vinatieri had one of the most disappointing days of his long career—making only one of three field goal attempts and missing an extra point attempt.

The Colts will be on the road for their second game, next Sunday at Tennessee. The Titans beat Cleveland 43-13 in their opener. The Colts first home game is Sept. 22 against Atlanta.
