INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck will not practice this week because he is "sore," yet another setback in getting No. 12  back on the field for a game.

In a press conference Wednesday, Colts General Manager Chris Ballard said he isn't calling it a "set-back" but believes it's part of the process for Luck's recovery.

Luck received a cortisone shot to help with the pain in his shoulder and will be out of practice for at least the rest of the week.

After undergoing surgery for a partially torn labrum in January, Luck missed all of the Colts' offseason workouts, all of training camp and the entire preseason.

Luck returned to practice with the Colts just two weeks ago, but has been taking it slow and has not joined the team on the field during a game yet this season -- instead, Scott Tolzien and Jacoby Brissett have played, to the team's 1-2 record.

The Colts host the Jaguars Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium starting at 1 p.m.
