INDIANAPOLIS -- Indianapolis Colts players and fans shared memories and love for linebacker Edwin Jackson who was one of two men killed by a suspected drunk driver early Sunday morning.
Police believe Jackson, 26, was the passenger in a rideshare vehicle when he got sick and the driver pulled over to help him out. That's when a suspected drunk driver ran into the back of the vehicle hitting both Jackson and the driver, Jeffrey Monroe, 54.

Asked what advice he'd give his 12-year-old self, Edwin Jackson said "Sometimes in life, you’re going to be put in situations where you’re going to have to have the courage to step out and be a leader." Thanks for leading with kindness & love. We'll take it from here.🙏🏻 #RIP53 pic.twitter.com/3qrzkXPzvf

So so so so sad hearing of Edwin Jackson’s passing. There really are no words. He was a favorite of ours on the radio because of his magnetic and inspiring personality. Gave 150% in everything he did. Loved his passion - and I’ll always remember that about him.

The lives of @edALWAYZwin (Edwin Jackson) and Uber Driver Jeffery Monroe were cut way too short this morning. God speed to both. Keep their families and the @Colts organization in your thoughts. #SuperBowl2018 #ColtsNation pic.twitter.com/uaWjEWgwFg
